Chamber ensembles
Every student in grades 7-12 take part in a chamber ensemble in the spring semester. These ensembles can range from duets to large instrument choirs. We place a great deal of importance in our chamber ensembles. Skills gained in preparation include, musical independence, rehearsal technique, listening skills, and cooperative teamwork. Each April Tullahoma High School hosts a Solo and Ensemble event where every student performs a solo and/or with a chamber ensemble.
Ensembles typical each year include: Quintets, Duets, Trios, Quartets, Flute Choir, Clarinet Choir, Trumpet Ensemble, Horn Choir, Low Brass Choir, Percussion Ensemble, Brass Choir, and Jazz Band. Each student who is enrolled in private lessons performs a solo while additionally preparing a chamber ensemble performance.
